After another action-packed year, it’s finally time for the TOTY 2020.

Here is the full TOTY 2020-

  • Alisson (Liverpool) – Goalkeeper
  • Andrew Robertson (Liverpool) – Left-back
  • De Ligt (Juventus) – Centre-back
  • Virgil Van Dijk (Liverpool) – Centre-back
  • Trent Alexander Arnold (Liverpool) – Right-back
  • Frenkie De Jong (FC Barcelona) – Central midfield
  • N’golo Kante (Chelsea) – Central defensive midfield
  • Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City) – Central attacking mid
  • Sadio Mane (Liverpool) – Left-wing
  • Kylian Mbappe (Paris Saint-Germain)- Striker
  • Lionel Messi (FC Barcelona) – Right-wing

The defensive line is dominated by Liverpool players, including the goalkeeper Alisson. Virgil Van Dijk becomes the first ever 99 rated centre-back to feature in the game, following an exceptional season with Liverpool, winning the Champions League. De Ligt joins the backline after having a brilliant season with Ajax.

The midfield is completed with the likes of Kante, Frenkie De Jong, and Kevin De Bruyne.

In attack, we have Mane, Mbappe, and Messi.

Surprisingly, Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t make it into the TOTY for the first time since 2011. However, due to his popularity, he made it as the 12th player after voting.
